Here in Australia we have all sorts of TV adds and awareness campaigns to try and stop infants drowning. Really strict pool laws about fences and child locks on the doors. Plus learnt to swim classes in school and government subsidised swimming lessons.

The younger you teach a child to do something the more success you have. Children are natural sponges, everything they hear and see they hold on to.
Totally impressed by the video and yet its so simple -- that was a 9-14 month old baby, floating, in the water -- calm, relaxed and talking. Very cool.
