Actually, this is a terrible example. The coffee lawsuit was pretty legitimate.
The victim was like 80 years old and accidently spilled coffee on herself in sweat pants. No big deal right? Wrong, because McDonalds served her coffee that was 190 degrees. She suffered 3rd degree burns through her pants and had to get skin grafts to her groin, ass, legs, etc. for 2 years. Coffee is normally served at 140 degrees. The stuff she got was practically boiling and was shown to be able to cause 3rd degree burns in just a few seconds. If she drank that coffee, she probably would have been royally fucked. She's lucky she spilled it.
Back to the original thread though....go fuck yourself. You're clumsy and don't know how to walk on ice. Not the companies fault you're a douche.
