Will this work? (scheme of drop in)

So I gave up looking for cheaper turf and decided to use on some part of drop in PVC pipes instead of turf. Here is a picture:

Will this type be good enough for jibbing? What are the drawbacks of using this type of drop in than a completely turf covered drop in? Thanks to any opinions!

A ladder type style drop in is as a good idea for a summer setup who has a tight budget. Also if you make a frame and use 2x4 every 10 inches maybe and put a small amount of turf on it and build a lip that should be fine.

That will work just make sure you don't space the pipes too far apart and remember that you will have no control on them so it will feel weird at first.

Thanks! Finally we'll start with summer setup. Just one more thing to ask: will it be possible with drop in like that to practice 270 in's?

yea, you will need to pop like hell with that lip, but if the rail is as high or lower then the lip, you should be good

That will probably work. On my drop in I have a cheap tarp nailed to the ply and the construction fence on top of that. Then on the tranny and jump I have straight astro turf. Its pretty fast and gives me enough speed to hit a 21 foot rail
