Hello dear Friends!
I recently invested in a DSLR and took some photos and edited some photos. Seven of them came out nicely and I think are worth looking at. Keep in mind these are really my first photos and trying to get some feedback!

All the pictures (except of your girlfriend) were taken from the same perspective. And it's not a perspective that necessarily works that often. Mix it up! Your exposures on those look nice though, because most people starting out have that high ISO in bright sunlight over contrasty look. That being said they are too saturated/contrasty. Take it down a notch. Green grass/trees don't look THAT green, haha. It's like neon.

And the pictures of your girlfriend are just like snapshots. Nothing really going on there. The second one could've been nice if you could see her eyes and the focus were on them. You need some more light in there too.
