Replying to virus?

ok, so my systems going like shit, so i open up my processes to see whats going on, and there is this process, called 'merarj.exe' thats using a shitload of cpu usage (13-15% while everything else is at 0 or 1) and seeing how im a computer idiot, i was wondering if this was maybe a virus of sorts that i should end? any help is wonderous
