Dear NS, I have a question for you

Hello my fellow ns'ers and thanks for stopping by. I have a serious question to ask of everyone who opens this thread. LSS I am graduating from College this Saturday and need to put something into a time capsule that will be opened in 25 years. This is where you come in....I need help thinking of something to put into it. Sadly it has to be relatively small so there goes the my Eric Pollard Pros and vinyl records. Any advice would be grateful and a splendid karma boost.

WHAT SHOULD I PUT IN MY COLLEGE TIME CAPSULE THAT WILL BE OPENED IN 25 YEARS?

Put a can of RedBull, and a NS- Sticker in there. Maybe a photo of you and a fried skiing.

i don't know if they even will be used in 25 years, but put a whole bunch of pictures on a memory card and put that in. or maybe even make a video or a day in the life at your school and put that in. be sure to include something ski related as well

pictures of yourself and friends from school. maybe your favorite things at the moment to see how they have changed by then, ex: song, book, style of skiing, hobbies etc.

Yeah it is a community time capsule, i only have 262 students in my graduating class. I will add pictures too, but I was trying to think of more creative things that will be crazy to think about in 25 years to put in.

I would put in a piece of paper with all your usernames on it for all your online accounts. i.e. NS, Facebook, Email etc.

Also you will want to put something in that reminds you of what skiing was (talking in post-tense). The flash drive idea was good, or maybe a disc since they will be around for a while.

Lastly you're going to want something that reminds you of your family or maybe another passion you have at the moment.

I would do a flash drive with a combination of all these things. A video of how a typical day looks at your college, so pictures, some ski videos, your favorite songs etc.

They will definitely still be able to get files off of a flash drive in 25 years. USB drives may not be the norm but you will still be able to get them.

I also like the flashdrive of ski edits. But definitely include some pictures of you and friends.

This is great actually,

Go to your local grocery store and buy some common foods, gallon of milk, some fruit, vegetables, stuff that is common that you can still use


Then 25 years from now when milk is either 45 dollars a gallon or 3 cents a gallon, you will be surprised!
