GoPro Glidecam

I have a GoPro Hero with the new back screen adding some weight. I've been looking into getting a glidecam or steadycam. I've seen multiple cheap cell phone/iphone type steadycams amd I was wondering if these cheaper ones would work with a gopro instead of a full sized glide/steady cam. Thanks!

It's really easy to make your own stabilizer for something like a GoPro. Really just need some sort of handle and counterweight on the bottom. A Glidecam is kinda overkill for a Contour or GoPro although definitely possible. I've mounted my Contour to my Glidecam for the hell of it although never used it that way.
