VIDEO SECTION

Ok so this might be a repost but it needs to be said. Recently in ski gabber there has been a ton of season edits and stuff like that. GUYS WE HAVE A VIDEO SECTION. Use it. Don't worry your "steezy edit" will get plenty of views.... it gets annoying when you see 10 threads with the titles... "my steezy edit" like cmon guys if someone wants to watch your video they will go to the vid section.

When you put a video up in the video section it is on page 2 in a day and no one sees it, which is why people put vids up in SG.

I think the video section needs to be completely redesigned having an option to view all the top rated that day/week/month/ year/ all time. Also if you could search the videos and actually find the one your looking for that would be nice too. Finally, uploading a video in the first place is a huge pain in the ass and never works on my mac so I just use youtube. If this could be fixed than more people would upload to NS instead of outside players

this is also why NS is fixing their video system and just because its a pain does not mean everyone needs to clutter up all of ski gabber with edits... no matter how good they are

The problem is that NS has been redesigning their video section for the past three years.

the thing is that people do go into the video section, they just watch videos from orange names, with catchy titles, and good ratings. how do you think all those video in the top rated got there? they weren't all put into threads into ski gabber, so what makes you think your edit deserves to be? yea, ok you may be a good skier and want other people to see it, but if people stop posting edits altogether in ski gabber, then everyone WILL go to the video section to fill their ski video cravings and the video section will improve drastically. and editing critique is for the media and arts forum.

/taking internet too seriously. but i do get mad when i post an edit i worked hard on to shoot and edit and it gets like 4 ratings and 1 comment. just a simple "sick edit man!" is nice.

The video section could use some renovations. It isn't the eistest to navigate and doesn't have like a preview kinda deal when you scroll Iover the videos like lots of newer video section on the Internet. Just through that out there.
