yes. Killing Osama was a mental thing. It lets us sleep easier at night, but Al Qaeda, a world wide organization will not crumble with the loss of its leader. It may hesitate, but the war on terror will not end at this moment.
Hopefully this just means that it is on its way to closing, but it won't end for awhile

Osama turned into a figure head after 9-11
Killing the leaders of Al-Qaeda is not the way to end the fighting as they're an extremely decentralized group ranging from isolated sects to entire tribes.
The way to end the fighting is to increase infrastructure in the nations, creating less poverty. The vast majority of al-qaedas members are poor rural young men.

We don't like peace in america anymore. It's a damn shame. I wish we could go 10-20 years without a war, without all these conflicts and other small operations, get rid of some of our military bases. It would be nice, but that's never gonna happen
