What size ski i should ride????

Hey im around 5'10 and thinking about buying salomon 2012's and just wondering what size would be the best for me, 171 or 179? i know they are rockered so they ride shorter but just want your opinion. I mostly ride park but also ride pow if its there.

well i guess it depends what kind of skiing youll be doing,

all park, id say the 171 i guess, but if you want to rip down the hill and are more into jumps and pipe go the longer one

def the 179. theyre rockered so it wont seem like that much at all. im 5'8 and i skied 178s all year strictly park. get 179s. you wont regret it

yeah thats the thing, i like rails and jibs, but also like to hit jumps, and some pow stuff. but mostly park. haha its tough,, but thanks for the opinion.

then just go for the 179, youll adjust to the length of them after a couple days of lapping.

I am 5,10 and i ride 184 cm...

Way more stable on bigger jumps and going fast, plus super fun on jibbing!! I recommend 180 and above...

i ride a tall ski for my hight and it doesnt restrict me at all. More stable when landing those big jumps!

^^^ salomon 2012, OP go for the 179cm, whit the rocker they will ski shorter. Im buying next year 2012 in 179cm next season whit sth driver 14. Im 5'10 and 149lbs, i have a very food deal whit salomon so thats why i buying salomon even if some people say they are shit for the durability ( suspect)
