Help me find a new jacket!

Hey guys, I am looking to guy a new jacket and i would really appreciate your help!

I need something that will last me many seasons, and will be of very high quality! I dont mind spending lots of money , as long as the quality is really good!

here is what i need

- very waterproof
- insulated - i live in canada so this is a must
- not flashy - i dont like flashy jackets , and i will wear it everyday to work and school also.



what do u guys think about MEC jackets? NorthFace?

Right now at evo, a navy blue or black north face decagon jacket (20k waterproof, slightly insulated) is $138 on sale.

or some of the orage jackets or armada, and definitely helly/hansen super warm and not flashy but very nice

i wouldnt say armada, since theyre new im pretty sure they are jsut shell type things. orage would have some good ones though

yeah i guess for most of the armada ones but their tracer jacket looks pretty warm,
also i find that the 30k/30k jackets that are just shells are much warmer you just need to put a fleece under it cause its mostly the wind that gets you cold so if you can keep all your body warmth in your coat then it seems to be much warmer

yes. I belive 32k/32k is gortex.

well i guess but not really i mean like $450-600 is around what they go for but i think its worth it,
and to evilchris no gortex can come in 20k/20k or even 15k as well
