Why were there only 4 dudes in bin laden's compound?

they say they were there for 40 minutes and had to fight their way through the stories to get to bin laden, but then say that only 4 or so people got their asses shot.. why would there be so few people surrounding bin laden?

and no, this is not a conspiracy theory thread.. just a curious question

um, you hear the part about no american lives lost? probly an 8 person team went in, and decided that charging down straight long hallways with no cover was probly a good way to get shot. on top of that, there were 12-18 foot tall walls everywhere.

My guess is that there were 20+ people in the compound with 10 of those being women and children. Its not like the movies where the villain has his own private army living with him at all times. probly had just a few close advisors, and some family.

where you face an endless onslaught of jihadi soldiers in Osama's compound after first fighting your way through the streets of Abbotobad only to have your linear route blocked by a down Black Hawk. You are then forced to make your way down a side alley to emerge into a court yard facing an Al Queada owned Russian Hind strafing your squad. You have to pick up the Javelin conveniently placed in the court yard and take out the helicopter. You then proceed to the next rally point where you link up with some grunts only to mowed down as soon as you breach the front gate of the compound.

one heli went down cause of "mechanical failure". do you know if that was before or after they dropped the seals off?


and that is soo dope that even when shit went wrong, the seals deviated from the original plan and balled out.


Why cant america make a heli that doesnt crash?

that's not 20+, and i understand that they would want everything hush hush, but i'm pretty sure they could find 10 people out of their thousands of devoted warriors that were loyal enough to be there in case of worst case scenario and not say anything.

i appreciate your explaining to me that it's not like in the movies where they have a "personal army" sitting around all the time, but there's a lot of space between a personal army and 4 dudes with kalashnikovs to defend their most important leader. and no it's not a COD level but it better be in mw3..

and i don't understand your comment asking if i knew that no US dudes were hurt..unless you thought i was implying that i was disappointed that it took 40 minutes. if i really need to clarify--no, that is not what i meant at all

Osama was living in a fairly wealthy neighborhood, for the area, in a city outside the capital of Pakistan.
Don't you think it would attract alot of attention living with 40 or more armed men instead of 4 couriers.

The actual firefight didnt last 40 minutes. Everything i read said that most of the mission time consisted of scouring and gathering the intelligence that was in the building after the firefight.

It sounds like only 4 were necessary to kill. From an ABC report, there were women and children there, who, I assume, decided to get the fuck out of the way when a bunch of Navy SEAL's showed up.

There were more than four deffinatly not a rumor... 25 I think.
 The four others are singled out because of who they were 2 Al-Queda couriers, Bin Laden's wife, his Son.

The other 20 must not have been important enough to be covered by everyone...

No, not everything has to be a conspiracy. This whole thing just wreaks of something being wrong.

I'm a critical person. I don't usually believe something just because I'm told it or see it in the mainstream news. I have to see convincing evidence and reports from the mainstream media don't usually cut it for me. Plus, I don't see much transparency in this at all. We have a bunch of varying stories of what happened and none are conclusive except for the fact that "we have his body".
