I'm not hating on Deadmau5, I'm just saying that it's interesting what we think when we think of a musician like him. It's all about the image, which isn't a bad thing, but intriguing to see how people use their image.

all of that is somebodies word against someone elses, and theres no way to really find out what happened in any of those incidents, Joel curses a lot, calling Dj's fucking cunts is probably just his way of displaying his lack of respect for their unoriginality

So him calling is his target audience "fucking cunts" isn't a douche move? What I find really funny is that at some point he realized how stupid it was to say that and that he was losing fans so he had to put his foot in his mouth by saying “DJs are my number one customer, right, so I’m not gonna go diss every fucking DJ." But if that doesn't make him a douche what about your video then? They scare those kids and proceed to laugh about for half a minute while that woman has to deal with three crying children. He could have at least taken off the costume to help the kids feel better but no, they would rather stand around and laugh about how clever they are. The man is an ass and he thinks that he's god's gift to music.

gotta say the dude seems like a tool. i just havent heard or read anything positive about him. hates on the very people that make his music popular and profitable, stories of him telling on people for drugs (uhh welcome to electronic music? if not for drugs he'd probably have 10% the fan base he enjoys), and shit like in this thread. just seems like a keyboard warrior that got famous and doesnt know how to handle himself around real people. my 2 cents

I'm not saying I haven't, but if I was famous I wouldn't be filming my douchebaggery and putting it on the internet. Every time I read about deadmau5 it's about how he was asshole or conceited in some way and I really don't support that. I will admit that a lot of my hate towards the man comes from the fact that I believe his music is nothing special and unoriginal and he doesn't deserve to have fame. But that's an argument for another day.
