Apparently this just happened. Obama is planning to deliver "Unusual Sunday Evening Statement."

It was supposed to start at 10:30. and says beginning shortly right now in the live video. Im waiting to see if this is true. Heres the link to the video

How shocking they didn't want a kangaroo court, right? Maybe you're confusing "third party" and "third world"? Hmmm. Perhaps it would have been worth at least pursuing that option a bit. How could I knock the US's success? Because Bin Laden didn't throw a dart at a map and choose the United States to go after. I'm not saying that he was a good guy or even that removing him was bad. I'm saying that the story didn't start on 9/11 and it's pathetic to celebrate death.

i think the true celebration is a sense of justice and retribution for those who have lost loved ones due to Bin Laden's actions. And a sense of justice for the country, taking out the man who is the face of the terrorist organization that attacked us.

violence is wrong. but that fool needed to go. how can you not understand that? his goal was to wipe out all people, american, british, spanish and etc. that did not believe what he did. we don't aim to kill innocent people. yes, shit gets outta control in war time scenarios but targeting thousands of innocent people is "inexcusable." osama got what he deserved. would you rather have him sitting around helping the separate AQ cells as a spiritual figure as well as a known mastermind? no. a couple bullets to the brain sounds a lot better to me.

This thread is full of fucking idiots. Who cares about conspiracies, politics, and all that bullshit...Osama is fucking gone. Our elite Special Op's forces raided this fucking scum towel heads compound and put a bullet between Osama's eyes. That is fucking badass.

Dropping down from ropes out of a blackhawk raiding the bitch with flash bangs and high powered weapons and killing the most infamous terrorist in the world. That is some real shit right there....I mean, details will later come out on how fucked up pakistan is, hiding bin laden just down the road from the military academy...the middle east is so fucked up....I'm just glad we have the best and most elite mother fuckers on this planet that can go in and kill the targets and get the fuck out without being touched. That is fucking awesome. I've always said it from the start....Its a tragedy that we have large numbers of american "pawns" in Afghanistan and that were in Iraq just sitting ducks to IED's and other bullshit...the ones that make a difference and thwart terrorist operations are the fucking SEALs, Delta Force, JSOC intelligence mother fuckers that DO WORK. Those guys are more than heroes, they are the future of combat. Large ground troops and shit like that is all bullshit, and thats why america gets so mad because we send thousands of our young men to pretty much die while driving in a humvee down the road...I just love Special Ops type of covert shit...It's fucking awesome. And to be the guys that took down Osama, they are fucking on another level...I hope they all enjoyed a cold beer and got some good laughs about blowing that mother fucker away. Haha, long live America and our Elite forces that get the job done.

ye and there is human rights violations in pretty much every third world country...so if there is profit...go and get it!

it's good they finally got that guy down...BUT going to the streets an celebrate death is so wrong in my eyes...i just remember pictures from 9/11 when arab people celebrated the twintower attack..and what i've seen today (yesterday) just looked the same!

I'd further simplify it to "opposing political viewpoints".

I think we originally got involved over there to cut the ussr down a peg and not let them get a foothold in the region.

It has been said they we would give the USSR their very own Vietnam. It worked really well actually until the USSR left and the terrorists turned on us with their new knowledge and weapons.

If there was ever a time to start backing out, it would be now. We did what we went to do. Now lets step back. We need to use this to get middle eastern troops involved. Obviously, Afghanistan isn't ready to fight this thing on their own. But they need to get in while Al Qaeda is feeling the effects of Bin Laden's death and take it to them, REALLY  hard, with the help of American air strikes. U.S. ground troops should not get involved any further.

Just my opinion. I don't think we have any right to get up and leave right away. We fucked up over their plenty of times, and we have a mess to clean up. But for god's sake, let's atleast start doing this 50/50 with Afghanistan.

Yes they're bias, but they also have a lot of truth to them. If you're intelligent enough to look past the bias, you'll be intelligent enough to understand some major issues in this country. I have a hard time believing issues w/ the middle east are much different.

So me and my friends were playing Frisbee and we hear honks and screams and we find kids going ape shit at mirror lake (ohio state's pond in the middle of campus) jumping in it and gathering around it. It was like the Michigan game jump(if you know what that is), everyone was pumped. It's funny because it reminded me that our country can be just as mob crazy as those we see on the news in the middle east and africa.

I actually believe in similar things. I just hate alex jones. He takes partial truths and mixes them with all kinds of bullshit and fear. He gives people searching for answers a bad name.

Instead of being taken seriously now you are labeled with his followers if you question the government.

I think the majority of the truth movements are tainted just as the mainstream news outlets are. Both sides are being spun
