Im really not following your post, but in theory it makes sense. Although I doubt a windmill able to produce enough energy to power a car would be any where near a manageable size.

also, it would need to be exactly or almost 100% efficient, so no energy lost as heat or drive train loss, which is impossible with todays technology.

just look at a few and think about explaining them with formulas and not just with "because its not working". hell even take the one with the two guys pulling each other subsequently until they are in the sky.

saying "its not working because i say so is easy". but for a highschooler i think its legit to ask him to explain that the guy in the air pulling the other one up is inflicting a internal force (reactio to his own hand since he is interconnected with the other guy) and a change of direction can only be a result of external forces
