That's like saying Wolves or Fulham have Chelsea the title because they managed to pull off draws and give Chelsea precious points. Still 3 games left there's no guarantee anyone wins. Arsenal didn't do it for Chelsea, they did it to keep their slim title hopes alive because of a month of poor football.

As for all the Barcelona fans, you're clearly all bandwagoners who don't appreciate good football. I don't know how anyone bares to watch 90 minutes of Pique and Puyol passing between eachother, players diving like it's the Olympics, and crowding the referees to influence cards.

i didn't tar all. I said some fans deserve hate, but that applies to just about every team.

and i wasn't still talking about the fans on the whole when mentioning the bomb thing. I think its a disgusting thing regardless of team, and I'd think the same if anyone associated with celtic sent a bomb to anyone.

As for association...it hasn't been proven yet, but come on, 3 high profile celtic fans, and the celtic manager all receive bomb packages? Not hard to connect the dots.

So why should UEFA ban them from Europe on acts of one person? The bombs are a matter for the police not for UEFA.

If you want to go into Celtic fans; fundraising for terrorist organisations (I'm sure that money went towards murdering women and children), abusing soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, etc. Or manager Jock Stein covering up child abuse within the club.

I think it's kind of shitty that alot of Americans in this thread aren't supporting any MLS clubs. Sure it may not be the best league in the world but it certainly won't get any better without support.

I like watching the mls because although the quality isn't that great, i don't have specific allegiances in the league. No stress or anything. I enjoy going games too, nice summer night out at a match for like $20...can't be beat.

I just can't stand the fans. Americans need their own chants etc. Simply replacing "manchester" with "new england" is stupid. I think soccer-specific stadiums will help quite a bit. Having 10,000 soccer fans in a football stadium built for 70,000 doesn't work. No atmosphere.


and the rangers fan lost any respect i had when he brought up terrorists. (though i will admit, abusing vets is low...)

Go to a sounders game. Simply unbelievable. And hey it is the Seahawks stadium, but it is still 35,000+ people and the loudest thing you can get in the states. Great atmosphere from the chants to the bands playing. I have had awesome times.

i wish i could. I am very nearly as far from seattle as possible while remaining on the continent. I've watched videos/matches in the past, and it seems like seattle and toronto overall have the best fans. I'm looking into going to a toronto match just for the hell of it sometime. I'm looking forward to montreal getting a team, just because i think it'll be like having a touch of french football nearby. And based on the french league games i've been to...it should be good.

yea i heard about the man utd trip. I've got work anytime they're close by though, so no go. Not much of a man utd fan either. Same goes for the spain-usa game.

Doesn't bother me much i guess, 90% of the people at those exhibition games annoy the hell out of me. The plastic "yea dude, dwayne rooney, my favorite manchested unity player. Couldn't believe when he scored the penalty kick to beat brazil and win the european world champion cup"

I don't mind people who like the sport and go, but please don't act like you know what you're talking about if you don't.
