I don't get skinny pants

Why would you wear skinny pants when you can wear dope baggy saga pants? I mean this isn't BMX/Skating.... this is skiing which has its own category; its different. I rep baggy because 1. more comfortable. 2. I feel like baggy was the original freestyle outerwear.
I see kids who are good at skiing in both, SOOOOOOOOOO

alot of ppl find skinny pants more comfy, and they get in the way less then baggy pants. If u ever skateboarded u will understand what i mean.

also, i like how ppl have thier own individual style when picking outerwear. It makes the sport unique. If everyone wore saga shit, saga would be super boring and ugly.

Or, you could stop acting like a gangster when in reality you're a 14 year old suburban white kid. For me, tight pants are more comfortable and they fit my style of skiing. And the baggy look is so fucking dumb, some people can pull it off, 98% others can't. Yeah, I said it.

There is the happy medium that you must find which between where pants are baggy enough to keep it "G" ( as some may call it) but slim enough to keep it non-mainstream.

Because I can wear skinny pants just as easily as i can wear "dope saga pants". And I have done both.


It's just a style thing. I do a shit ton of shifties, weird tricks, and I just feel like my style is more skinny-pants than baggy. But I still rep baggy pants every now and again.

the guys from Nipwitz all have super tight shit, they have great style and are some of the most creative and progressive people in newschool skiing. and to me they look about 1000X better then u in ur baby blue saga.

threads like this are dumb. who cares why a fellow skier wears a particular piece of clothing? if he is stoked on it that is all that matters. no one cares about what you think about someone elses outerwear style. write about it in your fucking diary or something. keep these pointless threads off of NS.

I'm gonna say I wear tight/slim/skinny (whatever you wanna call it) pants because its close to what I wear around regularly chillin/around town-wise, and when I wear xl pants I feel like I'm about to go sky diving/wearing garbage bags as pant legs or something along those lines, or maybe impersonating mc hammer. In plain honesty though I like the look of skinny pants. I also don't ski and am more skate oriented when it comes to snowboarding I guess.

But in the end each to their own, no one needs to understand why others wear what they do.
I don't go runnin around philosophizing over why goths dress the way they do, its weird but hey they just do what they do yadadmean? just like us snow/ski folk.
