I just need something to do to kill a bunch of extra time I have. It can be anything, from music production to filming, photography, programming, web designing, after effects, whatever. Just give me something to do!

Do you have particular plug-in in AE? Make a visualizer for a dope song. Great way to push your computer.

Critique my videos as ruthlessly as possible and tell me how to fix them. Would be really appreciated. I feel that every time I edit something it is just horribly edited even with all the good footage I have. Because of that for my cinematography reel at the end of the year im having other people edit my collection of shots. So please help me learn how to edit!

Go on vimeo, take your favourite rider and download a few of their best edits. Go into FCP and start chopping it up into clips. Make a compilation or something, Its kills time and actuallly really pushes your editing skills if you try and aim for a specific look or "feel". Using a song that you love but normally wouldnt think twice about putting in an edit makes things interesting too. 

(purley for practise though, stealing other peoples footy is lame)

Learn to really party.
Make your desk more functional. Like if it's just a desk in front of you with a roll out thing for the keyboard, add on a side to it and make that your design table, then add on a side opposite that so you have extra space, allowing you to make a party zone.
Learn how to build a fridge, and make mini fridges and sell them for super cheap. Customize them for hiding shit for a little extra.
Take all your stuff and add extra pockets, hidey holes, drawers, and little sneaky secret spots to them.
Make a panic room.
Customize everything exactly to your liking.
Build a tree house and wire electricity to it, move your entire room up there and stay there the entire summer.
Buy a ton of old computers for like 200 dollars, set them all up on a network and start DDOSing people you don't like.
Vegas.
Make SWAG t-shirts and sell them (I'd buy one.)
Get involved in the mob.
Learn to self defense.
Learn how to accidentally a word.

Start producing music! Throw a copy of ableton on that new computer, start having fun! Or use fruity loops, its much easier and still super powerful (deadmau5 uses it).

Music producing just killed the entire day for me, and I have a chunk of a nice little song to show for it!

download celtx, its a script writing program that makes formatting really really easy. So far so good, but it will probably get a shit ton harder as I get into the story.
