Replying to HIGH ALTITUDE dwellers with MACS
Alright, so... I live above 10,500 feet. My one-year-old macbook recently took a shit on me. Long story short, bought a new mbpro and now two months later, my hard drive is making the same popping noise that my old one did.
This thing has never been dropped, never any viruses, no extreme programs... photoshop only really. I don't get it!?!
On Apple.com it does say that the maximum altitude for operating is 10,000ft. But it says maximum storage altitude is 15,000ft. Could the altitude I live at really be prematurely killing my hard drive? This laptop rarely goes below 10,000ft...
Has anyone else living above 10,000ft (probably not many of you) had this problem?
I'm extremely frustrated. I feel like I'm breaking my computers by just living. UGH.
And Apple haters don't have to comment... I'm not a massive fan myself. Not sure why I got another one.
