Hmmm well I always thought letting it "air out" and just keeping it clean was the key, but I get this nice gem last fall:
The whole letting it "air out" thing was super super painful... more so than any other roadrash I've had. It could be because it was my first in a dry climate (CO). It was like three weeks of that shit and wasn't getting any better. I found out that it was best to actually keep it wrapped and moist until a certain point. Then it was okay to let it "air out" and scab up.
Shit is the WORST. I would have rather broke my fucking leg... shit is such a deep nasty scar now.
