i find it really annoying that on ns you cant really stay in touch with what your 'friends' are doing (posting vids, pics, threads)
i think friends are pointless because u cant know what there posting without checking all of their accounts to see if they have put up anything new.
i think we should have a tab or section on our individual account page that has updates about just videos, pictures and mabey threads our friends have posted! it would make it sooo much esier to see whats going on with your friends without sitting on video section or checking their accounts each day.

a notification when someone makes you as a friend, cause it could be someone you shreded with in another nation or state or province.

no, that defeats the purpose, what if u want to know when tammy wallnutz adds a video? do you think he wants to accept millions of friend requests? and anyone can see anything on your profile, even if there not ur friend! think of it like subscribing to somone on youtube!

Acutally there is a URL you can google and it shows you the people that added you. I forget what it is but it is. haha

I personally would like notifications when people comment on my pictures and videos. and when you comment on something and someone gives you a response. cuz kids can ask questions on my photos or pictures..I answer and they never know or vice versa.

I wouldnt like a ns chat or any other shit that facebook has..just an updater thing like the red box that facebook has

The only reason you were on my friendslist was I bought on ipod off you a while back and it was easier to find your profile so I could message you about it

Main reason why I add someone as a friend.

makes finding their god damn profile so much easier when trying to msg someone.

That or I have actually skied with them

what im thinkin of is more of youtube and facebook notifications combined,
so you get notified when:
-somone quotes you
-comments on pics and vids
-a friend uploads a pic or vid

so basicly you can subscribe to someone

i would quit ns if all that other facebook shit like walls and likes, and chats came to ns!

there is a reason FB is so big, they do a lot of things right, why not implement some of them here, they can only make ns better

I would like to know when someone has added me as a friend, so i don't have to accept their friendship just know that I'm on their list. then I can add them too and it would be very convenient. you could do it as a pm or something.

Seems to be a flaw in this. I searched: Brieb "hide_header" site:newschoolers.com/ns/members/profile and it pulled up a number of members profiles who are not friends with me.

Unless I'm missing something?

I also feel like NS should move forwards in media sections, but stagnate when it comes to the social aspects - if you could delete/edit your own posts I would leave. NS forums have a sense of weight and inurgency, it would be a shame to lose that.
