Bro. seriously, bro.

This is by far not even close to the best show ever. The dude is the most eccentric person ever, he over states things dramatically. He came to NZ and said there were Eels the devour people that fall into rivers. This is one of the funniest things ive heard for a while. Eels here get to about 3m max and thats a fucken massive one and they are the most docile animals ever, then he goes and soaks himself in fish guts and says "look, these eels are just savagely attacking me" its hilarious. Anyway I have NEVER heard of one single person being eaten by eels, ive been bitten on the finger and it feels kinda like a lamb sucking on your finger haha

I like the show, but this season has been pretty disappointing, especially the eel episode and the pacu (however you spell it). The stingray episode was alright

haha i think one of the related videos is a guy shooting one like ten times with a pistol before they bring it on board.


River monsters is cool, jeremy wade is definitely a weird guy though it seems. I'd still take that job any day haha.

And to the new zealand fella, did you really say 3m eels??? that's huge, I've caught like 1m freshwater eels here in PA.

But seriously that guy on the show is a fuckin goon. 90% of the fish he talks about are docile as hell, sure they get big but they dont fucking eat people that swim with them.



What makes me laugh the most is when he gets all serious and acts like he's an "extreme" fisherman fishing for monsters. Yeah fucking right bud, you arent the only person fishing for massive fish, what makes you more likely to catch one....a fucking camera?

Its called "entertainment". A good host creates drama. This is TV 101. If I wanted to watch some fat old guy fish I would watch OLN.

I love that show. One of the new ones featuring the long finned freshwater eels of New Zealand is nuts. Sheep falls into a river and while it is trying to climb out these things are eating it alive.

that show's like the quintessential watch-when-you're-stoned-out-of-your-mind-on-the-couch show. some douche goes after some crazy creatures with dramatic editing and dumb shots. fucking awesome
