Attention all Dispatch fans:

God, I love Dispatch. I'm from Florida originally, and I don't know many people in Utah who jam to them (or any other jam bands for that matter). But they are playing a show in Red Rocks this summer, which I REALLY want to go see.


Side note: Did everyone pick up Dispatch's 4 album download over winter?

It's mostly people from the New England area, but people come from all over the world to see them. In 2007 they sold out Madison Square Garden 4 nights in a row. There were people there from the west coast and all over the world, including Australia and New Zealand. When I saw them 2 summers ago in D.C. the Prime Minister of Zimbabwe was right in front of me. They're world renowned.

I fucking love Dispatch. Fallon is on after Leno now, right? I usually just watch Conan and go to bed these days haha. I thought they broke up though? My friends took a road trip to their "final concert" or something a couple years ago. I must be out of the loop.

I think they're back together. I think the Zimbawbe tour was the "last" one, but I guess something happened with State Radio.

Fuck yeah, I love dispatch. I was at one of the Zimbabwe concerts at MSG. Hands down best concert I've ever been to.

Don't get me wrong, I love State Radio, but the song they're performing tonight is really State Radioesque, which I'm not too happy about. I was hoping it would be a classic Dispatch style song. I do like the song, it's just not what I was hoping for. I would call it a hybrid between State Radio and Ween.
