Searchbarred, but couldn't come up with anything recent re this topic. I have footage in wmv format. I need to burn it onto a playable DVD. I have a Sony cam and PMB came with it. PMB has burner software but can't burn wmv's. I have downloaded VLC and have been trying to convert to .mpg mpeg-2. Keep getting error message. PMB allows you to convert to wmv but does not convert back.
I will not purchase Nero because they pissed me off. I have tried a variety of free and purchased burner software that doesn't work for shit. Why is it so difficult for someone to make dvd burner software that actually works? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
