It isn't often that two people team up and change the freeskiing game completely. Sure it has been done before, but never like Henrik and Phil. The duo teamed up a while back with their insane series "The B&E show". I'll let the episodes speak for themselves.

I have been wanting to make this thread for a while, but I couldn't decide wether or not to make it for each of them seperately. I decided it would be best for it to be made for them both since they both have changed the game together.

Now for some edits of them seperately and then together.

Although there are tons of edits of them, I chose my favorites.

Their runs at X Games were reminiscent of two other incredibly talented skiers that took their own style to the course and got robbed: Pep and Mahre, a few years back.

These guys are changing skiing. Simply put. Do I think it's necessary to dress in acres of cotton and only listen to Redman? No. But these two are the bleeding edge of where ski jibbing is going, and I love watching something besides the infinite switchups and spins on and off. They, along with Traveling Circus and Hornbeck, have changed the way that I look at jibbing.

It's a shame that contests don't recognize the brilliance these two put on display. Skiing, unfortunately, is based around a sponsorship model that worships podium results as the ultimate ranking of who's worth paying most. I think it will last a couple more years, but eventually Harlaut and Casabon will get fed up with contests and just decide to do their own thing, much like Fujas and Mahre have done with Nimbus. Let's hope the industry supports them, because we need them more than ever.

Even if the judges don't, we love your skiing. Keep killing it.

these two are the most creative park skiers out there right now.. they are bringing the sport into a different and much better direction. much better than triples!

Spot on and not a thing I disagree with. I do think they are doing their own thing and starting to stray away from cliche skiing with Inspired. It's obvious. The fact that they are not filming with Level 1 this year, how Inspired is smaller (Trust me, it will blow up. Inspired is the raddest production company out right now and all of their episodes and such will become bigger and bigger. Just look at B&E!) company that they are now apart of (Therefore, they are apart of something smaller, but dope, instead of Level 1, which is still sick as hell, but a bigger name.), and how they are doing different and innovative tricks.

Some of the stuff I saw in the new episode of B&E was mind - blowing. The copious amounts of both snowboard-type and regular tailpresses and nollies were insane. Not to mention the smooth, flowy laps if Whis. All in all, I think B&E itself is a new type of skiing apart from X-Games type skiing. Also, it's obvious what they're doing is being done by others (All their new tricks I mean) in new edits and what not.

Blah, enough talking from me. Henrik and Phil are super dope and creative skiers. That is all.

I'd say a lot of what I have seen from Inspired has gotten smaller and smaller... I would rather see what they could do with Level 1 than what they are doing now to be honest. With the resources and locations that goes along with a real production company, their skiing could be portrayed in an even more impressive fashion.

Please elaborate on your Inspired statement. What do you mean they have gotten smaller? I'm not trying to call you out. I'm really just wondering. Also, I agree, but if B&E gets bigger and bigger, so will Inspired. Ultimately bringing Inspired to Level 1 status.

Look at some of their recent stuff. Its not exactly the innovative and high quality stuff delivered on a revolutionary platform that was promised at the start of last season. Watch the latest Toy Soldiers thing as an example. TSP makes some amazing stuff, and Inspired is clearly not a priority. With B&E it is also lacking. Compare their production value to that of level 1. Level 1 had some of the best setups, filming, and editing around. Now they are no longer on photoshoot features and they are lapping the same parks as everyone else. I love their skiing and the way it progressed over the last year or so has been amazing, I just wish that the I could see it in something as well produced as a Level 1 flick.

I see. I agree with you on some things, but I think Inspired will get bigger. Just give it time, but don't get me wrong. I definitely know what you mean when you compare it to Level 1.

Sure the edits fucking sweet, but its not movie material.


Also inspired is going to need to step it up if they want to get big. There have only been 2 good eps this year and thats b&e 6 and Mn 1.

To me, it seems that Inspired is trying to do their own thing, much like DAnderson already mentioned. If that precludes doing the huge private shoot/closed session thing, I'm fine with it, because the diversity is what we need most.

Every major production company has the huge park shoot in their film. Webisodes aren't exactly a new idea, but they still represent the alternative to the "shoot all winter for one film" approach.

If I were Inspired, I'd start releasing B&E and other content on a paid subscription, much like a video magazine. Every month, you'd have something new coming down the pipe for the paying subscribers and they could do shorter edits with less for free consumption to hype the subscription sales.
