you know its fairly easy to separate metals once melted.

that being said, some time in the early 1980's they switched to just plating the pennies with copper, so if you just got pre plating era pennies you could scrap them, people used to do it without even melting them down when copper was way high in price. you just gotta find a sketchy shady scrap collection place that deals cash and most are/do

if it was could work im sure people would be doing it. yes i was kidding about the pennies, however im sure you could find pure copper pennies and sell them for scrap, but it probably wouldnt be worth it.

im 100% serious about the jibberish. if you buy a hoodie, keep it in the plastic for a few seasons, you can sell it for more than it was worth
