Windells Employment

So I applied for a digger position at Windells this year in the hopes to be around snow far after ski season is over. Although this is my first choice for a summer job, I'm going to have to start searching elsewhere pretty soon in case Windells doesn't work out.

So my question is, does anyone know around what time they let people know if they got the job?

I searchbared, just found a bunch of threads about kids asking "is Windells is the right camp for me?"

inb4 "email Windells". Did this too, just thought I would ask newschoolers as well.

If you do have a job, you would either already know, or most likely find out in the next week or so.
unfortunately as far as I have heard the digging staff is already set for this year.

the only thing is that its not a "job" they put you up for the summer and you bust ass for no $$

I'd rather bust ass for $250(?) a week and be on snow than work behind a counter.

if digging doesn't work out, you can lifeguard. you don't do shit but eat, drink soda, make milkshakes, play with kids and talk to the other lifeguards... of coarse you have to worry about the dumbass kids on the diving board but other than them its a great job. you make good money for doing almost nothing!

i thought from what i herd it was a 0 money position. Tim puts you up for the summer, feeds you boards you and in return you dig. if you make 250 a week thats not bad with all the rest

a couple of my buddies just got counseling jobs there and they heard about 3 weeks ago that they got the job

Oh and Windells just emailed me back. They said they were going to be letting people know all the way up until the second week of May or something like that.

Yeah, I finally got all my info for the Summer yesterday but I'm a counselor. Not sure when Keaton or whoever chooses the diggers does

So if you work at windells and such do you get to ride on days off for free? I was looking at summer camp jobs the other day couldnt find much cause mt.hood is "porn" at school. High Cascade you can be a dishwasher which is perfect but i dont snowboard.

Depends on the job. Counselors have the time on the mountain off so they get to ride everyday and you get a season pass. But the Windells lane isn't open on in-betweens so if you ride then its just public park. I know you can dig-to-ride but the deadline for applications for full summer jobs was back on Feb. 28th.
