does anybody know why it cost $14 to ship there shirts off their website? and does anyone know how i can get it cheaper? they are having a sale and most of their products cost less than its shipping

I don't know why but they're shipping to Canada for jacket and pants is like 150$. Seems super over priced, saga ships their gear for closer to 30$ to canada.

I will NEVER deal with First Drop. I did last year and the hoodie came SUPER late and the size did not come close to matching the said measurements. My friends have had terrible luck, too. I will never support First Drop.

There is nothing lower than a legitimate company trying to make money off of shipping. It's one thing if a 13 year old over charges shipping by 5 bucks, but first drop? By more than that? Jesus. They can't expect me to ever purchase their product

I was putting some of their stuff in the shopping cart the other day. (can't pass on the sale) And ended on about 200$! Super stoked, but as I changed country to "Norway" the shipping popped to about 200$, I seriously laughed and x'ed the tab. (extra lolz at the shipping option that says (NOT recommended)

They also claim to have improved shipping on their site. Something smells fishy IMO. I also noticed that when I added a thermal, the shipping went up like 16 $, I mean wth?

No hate. I really like the look of their stuff!

fd is going to keep on doing this shit till people stop buying into their bullshit. I've said it before and I'll say it again, first drop is one of the worst things to happen to skiing in the past 5 years

This thread seems pretty full of hate, but we'll just put this out there-

We do NOT make money on shipping. Because of the rigidity in the way our shopping cart is, we actually LOSE money on shipping to many parts of the world. We will be redoing our whole shipping/cart system this summer, but for now we're stuck with it.

If you think you are being ripped off by us, then don't buy from us. You are welcome to check the Fedex site, and do a shipping quote. Keep in mind our gear is very large and pretty heavy, suits weight about 7-8 lbs, hoodies weight 3-4 lbs, etc. You'll see that we charge a good amount below retail Fedex rates.

Gas prices go up, shipping prices go up. We don't set Fedex's rates- they do.

We also choose Fedex over USPS, UPS, TNT, etc because they are the best and they get our packages through customs and to our customers.

We hope you'll be a little more forgiving, especially when we are doing a 50% OFF SALE, which makes our gear some of the most affordable stuff out there. Thanks NS.

I got some of my mates stoked on your gear, and we got an order in together (to cover the crazy shipping fees) But seriously, I have been buying stuff of ebay, karmaloop etc and their shipping is no way near the prices fedex deal with.... (mostly usps @ ebay, and DHL @ karmaloop) DHL also manage to ship from the US to Norway in like 4 days wich easily justify paying up to 100$ (We paid 212$ for shipping and the gear is supposed to arrive the 9th of May. wich in my eyes is not fast at all.)

I know this is none of my business but I really think that you would get more international customers if your shipping was cheaper! Just trying to give some feedback as a customer. If possible I would suggest getting another company to ship! Once again I have no idea about how you actually do stuff like shipping, just my opinion!

Stoked to get the gear, but probably won't buy anything that isn't on sale untill you get some reasonable and affordable shippingprices (I'm talking about international shipping here). No hate, just trying to be constructive and give some REAL customer feedback from a REAL international customer with REAL hard-earned money.

I had the same thought process/dilemma about buying stuff in the fd sale and then found out about a Uk based distributer and just as a test tried for downtown oslo and a full was going to be £10 to ship which definately a price drop in shipping. Also they have passed on the fd sale prices but are running low on stock but if you are interested in getting whats left or next years stuff when it comes in go to http://http://www.urbanventura.co.uk/
