El Rey vs. Mastermind

iv heard that el reys and masterminds are both good but u shud look at the volkl wall. they r usually like 580 but u can buy a pair of last years. which next year would be this years. In the begining of this season i bough last years for 350

Imo the el rey is the best skiing price point (under $400) ski on the market. It does everthing reasonably well, and is suprisingly playfull. Haven't had more than a couple of runs on the mastermind, but I would go with the el rey for sure

alright, you will want the el ray over the mastermind any day!! the mastermind is too soft for your weight and hight and would suck just about every where!
the el ray has a similar construction to the mastermind (cap) but it is far more stiff and a bit more durable then the mastermind.
the el ray isnt quite as close to semetrical as the mastermind so it will do fine outside of the park, and still shred the hell out of the park.
if you plan on skiing more then 90% park, you should get the el ray center mounted, if less, get it at the manufacturer's recommended point!

That's a good buy, they're great park skis that can carve around the groomers nicely.

hi im just wondering what twin tip skis I should by. I need to know by january 3rd thanks. I am 5'8 and 130Lbs and a male. I am a intermediate/advanced skier on normal mountains but a beginner in the terrain parks. which ski should I buy? The Armada El Rey 2012 or the Line Mastermind 2012? The armada ones are $450 and the line ones are $350.
