Help with a Flat down flat box!!!

Alright so i plan on making a mellow flat down flat/flat up flat box.. but i have a little problem.

I plan on making it 18 ft long in total, flat's are each 8ft and the angled section will be 2 feet. Right now i have a 16" wide x 9 foot long piece of plastic that i am going to use, by cutting it in half. But therefore i have 2 9 foot sections of plastic.. how should i go about putting it on, i.e. Cut the 9 ft sections down to 8' and then put both 1' sections on the up?, or should i keep the 9 foot sections together and try to bend them over the kinks.....

first of all: you will want a lot more then a 2 foot angled section, seriously, that will be stupid, make it at least 4 feet! if its 2 u wil probly just gap it

next you will want the seperate pieces on the angled section, but make sure u file the edges down a bit so u dont catch an edge at the seam, you shouldnt bend the plastic, it could break, or it will just be a mellow transition(no kinks)

Does it have to be a flat down flat and does it have to be that wide? 

-8" or 9" wide A-frame

-3 individual 5" wide 9' long boxes (tons of configurations.)  possibly add some type of coping for extra width?

I already have a 13' flat box.. So I'm looking for a new option. Should I maybe do 7-4-7? I wantto have the flats as long as possible for switch ups etc.

that sounds a little better.  just remember the shorter the down is, the better chance you have of disastering to the last flat haha.  put up pics when you're done with it!

Haha I doubt I'll be doing disasters.. My yard is pretty flat and my drop in is only 4 feet. I'll try to build it soon, but I need some ply, 2x4s and PVC so I'll eventually get around to it

7-4-7 sounds perfect, on my rails i find that i have plenty of time to set for a swap after 7 feet!

you can switchup a 7 ft rail!? i have an 8 ft rail and i can only 270 out of it

haha yep, this video is from a year ago or somthin when i first learned switch ups, the rail is 7 feet long!
