Question about Banshee Bungee

So my local shop was having a sale because there a seasonal shop and everything was marked down pretty low. I saw a banshee bungee with everything included for 70 bucks and i bought it. What i didn't realize is that it was the lite version and its for smaller kids under 120lbs. I cant return it because it was a sale item and im pretty much stuck with it. Would it work if i attached a 10ft lite bungee with a regular 10ft bungee so it almost equals the speed of a 20ft bungee? i would just use carabiners.

Sparknotes= would a 10ft banshee bungee lite attached to a 10ft regular banshee bungee work almost as good as a 20ft one? i would use carabiners to attach them.

not really, it will make it better but in essence its still only 2/3 of the 20 footer.

the lite version will be fine for hitting urban rails as long as the drop in isn't up hill or anything. we have the 20 footer and the only drawback is that it takes at least 3 people not in ski boots to pull it back on asphalt. you cant pull it back 20 feet without sliding in ski boots and it tears the shit out of the soles so you have to have people with regular shoes on and a clear runway for them to pull it back.

yeah im not sure if it would work, but the light version works fine, im 165 and it pulled me fine into a urban rail

I was looking forward to hitting jumps in my backyard. you said that it is only 2/3 of the 20 footer, would it make a big difference attaching them? cuz it says the 10 ft goes 20mph and the 10ft lite goes 12mph so wouldnt it be 32 mph? the 20 footer they sell goes 35mph. do you think it would be worth the extra 50 bucks to attach them?

i don't know what kind of jumps you enjoy hitting, but we have the 20 footer and its not going to get you going across flat ground fast enough to hit anything worth the effort. it will be enough for a bonk or something, but not a jump.

idk about that using the 20 footer i cleared a 15 foot flat down rail urban with a flat runup

so a 15 foot complete step down? that doesn't really qualify as a jump in my opinion. from what i gather this kid is working with a flat backyard so he might be able to get a 12 foot jump that you could whip around a 3 on, but is that really worth all the effort. especially when it takes 3 people to pull back the bungee?

yeah its pretty much a flat backyard. but ppl say its a pain in the ass with the lite bungee just to even hit the rail. so i think im gonna get the extension so its not so difficult to get speed

i would have to disagree with that, i know some kids who used a 20 footer on flat ground and jumped a 6 foot high fence, no problem

The elastic constant will be different with 2 bungee's with different constants. So it will not be 32 mph. You could find how fast you will go if you can find the Elastic force of Bungee A and then the same for Bungee B then use those two numbers to find your change in elastic force, then use THAT number to find velocity.
Fe = -Kx
where Fe is your elastic force and your K is your constant, while the x is for change in position (displacement)
:)
Then transpose to find whatever you need to find.
