School Project Skiing

I have to create and present a slideshow about freeskiing. Im not necessarily looking to present the history of the sport, just highlight what its all about. Any suggestions of topics i should cover? only has to be like 8 slides.

you should highlight todd walnutts totally gnar pretzels duuude.


but really, you should highlight progression, maybe with videos if you feel like getting fancy with powerpoint. specifically you could show all the fancy new triples, as well as stuff where style is important, like show some giant single corks.

^^^Agree. Discuss progression.
-The roots. First twin-tips, before companies produced them, were straight alpine skis, but the tails were heated and bent upwards.
-Snowboarding influence. Face it, we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for snowboarders.
-New ski technology over the years. Possibly discuss difference between twin-tips and alpine.
-Skiing today. Dubs, trips, backcountry, and some of the current "super stars" (Andy Warhol dubbed that phrase. Fun Fact.)

Include pics and video. Each topic could be a paragraph if you wanted. That should cover the basics.

You can watch Simon Dumonts Transitions, it talks alot about how freeskiing originated from moguls
