Skaters vs. BMX

So i rollerblade, but today i was at a skatepark and this one skater was really picking a fight with a BMXer and he hit him with his deck and hes was bleeding like shit and it made a big puddle o'blood in the park. That's nasty. So then the skater, witch would of goten his ass kicked by the BMXer (witch was pretty beefy), left and the police came and the guy left in an ambulance. The fight started just because one guy stepped on the other ones skateboard. So all that to say: why so much hate?

I have found skaters to be a cocky bunch of assholes in the park. Not all, but a lot. Maybe it has something to do with parttaking in the so called "coolest" action sport.

skateboarders at my old park used to get mad at bikers because we would always snake them on accident. it wasn't really our fault, skaters would be sessioning one spot while most bikers are just cruisin around flowing shit and we'd end up getting in peoples way. there was never really fights between us like that, we would talk shit joking around but there will always be an argument between which is better, that's just how it is

Well i find it retarded imean the guy was pissing blood and it put this shitty mood for everyone in the park. I was just sessioning a rail with some skaters and we were just chill, then we see this. The guy is gona get charged with armed assault, fleeing crime scene and disturbance of the peace, quoting the policeman

I skate and BMX and when i'm on my bike i have ppl try and start shit with me all the time but I don't take any of it and call them out all the time. But i'm also 6'4 195 so it would be pretty dumb for some 15 year old goth butt plug to start something with me

Seriously though there is no reason for any action sport to be hating on each other. It's just jokers that think whatever they're riding makes them cooler. BS thought process for posers.

I skateboard, so i may me slightly biased. I personally dont respect a lot of BMX bikers because it can be frustrating as fuck with how much they can get in the way and how much damage they can do to spots. getting laid out by a bike also fucking blows. litteraly every BMXer in my town tryed skating, sucked, and quit for biking.

bmxing is so much more fun in skateparks

its like on skis, when you got a kid hiking one feature, and then a kid who is flowing through the entire park hitting all the features in a row, the flowing person has the right of way

i might be missing something here, but why dont the skaters take a look around before they go and hit that one feature?

im guessing that you will only be max 20 ft away from the target feature, so take a look around, and if it looks like its gonna be apart of a bmxer's line in the next 5 seconds...wait 5 seconds.

its kinda like pedestrians and cars. Cars should be looking out for pedestrians, but they go fast, and if their was an accident the pedestrian gets fucked up. so the pedestrians MAKE SURE that they wont get hit.

Right, they all bmx cause they sucked at skateboarding. Also you can avoid them just like they can avoid you. How is it their fault they cut you off. bikers often ride the same line just like skaters ride the same feature, you can see a guy starting his line and know about when he's coming your way. you do sound slightly biased.

I have head on hit a biker though on blades and it was fuckin scary, luckily we both kinda weaved and I just clipped his bar. I was comin in hot off a wall ride and we did one of those i go left he went left, I go right he went right sort of scenarios.

I'm not trying to hate, just saying, when two people collide in the park it's usually a little of both their faults.
