look at big air, pk was doing double corks back when dumont won with a double front. i think double corks in the pipe aren't that much more common in pipe now than they were back then on a jump. what im trying to say is that people had a solid 3 or 4 years of throwing doubles before triples started going down, so i feel like itll take another 3-4 years for anyone to try one in the pipe.

the olympics will speed pipe progression up for sure. I think we will see a triple in the pipe @ the olympics.

Triples in pipe will be more hucked than regular triples that have been thrown lately. Sammy C's triple (imo) is the only one that didn't seem hucked.

im calling a minimum 26ft wall on the pipe for olympics. (this is all based on the fact that 22ft walls are used now, witch im not 100% on)

imo the pipe is much more limited with airtime and speed! compared to a kicker where u can just do a bigger table/longe rlanding and u have more airtime! pipes won't get any bigger! at least not contest pipes! so i'm not expecting a nice triple in the pipe in the near future!
what i think should happen in the pipe: non grabbed doubles or normal tricks = touching the snow = half of the points!

pipes cant get much bigger. they tried to make a 25 or more foot pipe one time in mammoth i think and everyone that rode it said it was too big. wasnt possible to carry enough speed to air out, too much vert.

I don't think they'll have to make the pipes bigger, but they may need to make the starting gates higher up so people can get more speed. If everyone went as big as young simon, people'd probably be throwing triples already....
