ha are you kidding?

if skiers can bring triples to the table (which the audience would love), why wouldn't they make it big enough?
there may not be a jump big enough in a slopestyle competition, but big air X i'm sure will accomadate(sp) for triples.

schlopy tried a dub cork 1980 and injured himself and had to drop out of finals.  russ henshaw got 4th, i can't remember who got 3rd, Ole Mustad got 2nd, and Elias took home 1st while stomping a bunch of triple cork 14s in the finals.

Go watch a fucking olympic aerials video and compare it to any of the trip corks being thrown on these big booters by guys like Schlopy and Bobby Brown. Completely fucking different. I love how kids these days are like ohhh I'd so much rather see a sick 5 or cork 7 than a triple. If you want to see a fucking 5 or 7 in a comp, GO WATCH WOMEN'S SKIING. Progression is good. There will always be a time and a place for sick style and steezey blunt 5's, but I personally think that dubs and trips are sick.


This post wasn't really directed at you, but I'm kind of drunk and needed to voice my opinion, so yours seemed like a good one to quote.
