Kid beats/stabs and kills father for $100,000. IN MY TOWN

spark notes- 19 year old kid with a pellet gun ties up his dad , makes him sign a $100,000 check, dads begging for his life, hits him over the head with a baseball bat 5 times, stabs him in the neck twice then comes back 2 days later and gets caught.

I would beat him an inch from death if i was givin the chance, let him recover, and do it again.

You don't rob, beat, and kill your father for nothing, but this was just a petty theft gone wrong. Like the guy took $100 000 from his dad and then killed him to get rid of a witness. So fucked. This isn't a "revenge kill parents" case, the dude is just messed up.

implying messed up kids come from good homes. Before anyone throws anecdotal evidence at me about bad kids that had "good" parents, take some time to study up on psychology. Unless that guy had serious mental problems that weren't mentioned in the article, it's literally impossible for his dad to have been a good parent.

Ahhhh, I see where you're coming from. There's a good chance his parents abused him in some way, but its still inexcusable. I totally know what you mean about the abuse/psychology angle though..... We don't need to have jail, just better parents and better laws. So much crime could be alleviated if people respected each other, including families.
