Replying to Aggressive Inline Skating and Skiing?

(I didn't know if this would be in ski gabber or not so i just posted this thread here so i wouldnt piss anybody off) Anyways my friends are trying to get me into aggressive skating and I'm a little afraid to buy a pair of skates due to the fact that i try to make my style in skiing as clean as possible (just like any other skier). I'm assuming that aggressive skating might ruin my style since in every edit i watch their arms are going everywhere but I've also heard that they are 2 completely different things when it comes to the feel. If anyone does both can you help me out? I want to pick up the sport but i don't want to ruin my style.
