Mics for T2i. Suggestions?

Looking to pick up a mic for my T2i mainly for skiing and whatever else I do. Anyone got any good suggestions? my budget is around $150 but I could go more if it's a real top notch mic. Post suggestions

I've heard some pretty good things about the Rode VideoMic, which is $150, and they just came out with a new one that is just over 200 i believe but supposedly significantly better.

Rode video mic pro is the way to go!
smaller and you can get rid of that AGC
