whose the richest person you know, and what did they do to aquire their wealth?

You have to actually know this person too, like they would for sure greet you by your first name whenever they saw you...it cant be someone you met a few times.

I'm up in Oswego now and I've heard Canandagua sp? is extremely wealthy.  At my old school, all my floor mates were from Pittsford outside of Rochester and they had some stories about Danny Wegman.  For anyone that has never been to a Wegman's, if you're in Western New York, FIND ONE AND FUCKING GO INSIDE.  They don't have any near my house because Price Chopper is headquartered in Schenectady and they have some agreement basically that Wegman's stays in their area and P-Chops does it's thing.  Comparing the two though Wegman's owns.  Best grocery chain I've ever seen

his friends CEO of Goldman Sachs, went to harvard. Actually a really chill funny guy believe it or not
my friends dad, very famous photographer, photographs for sport illustrated swimsuit edition. Mad chill, and very excellent cook.
being from the hamptons introduces you to a lot of rich famous people.

Prem Watsa. Chairman and CEO of a few companies. He owned the company my dad used to work at. My dad was a vice president so he knew him fairly well, I met him a few times. Really down to earth guy, even though he has like two billion dollars.

Moses Znaimer is also an honorable mention. He's also really good friends with my dad since he helped Moses create some sort of thing for senior citizens. For you Torontonians, Moses Znamier created CityTV and Much Music. Also owns 97.3 CHFI. He too is a really nice guy. I have one of his bus stop ads in my study for some reason... it's a picture of him in a bath with a caption. Pretty awkward.

guy just around the corner from me has a garage filled some incredible cars. 3 or 4 LMP/LMP2 lemans cars, lola's i think, a classic silver 300SL gullwing with red interior, a Jag XJ220, and probably 10 or 15 other various cars including a few open wheeled formula cars. And, to top it all off, he recently sold his oringinal GT40 that he drove in Lemans for 42,000,000 AND a one-of-a-kind ferrari prototype. Crazy.

my dad who makes a little less than 100k a year but has lived in china for the past 10 years so he could make that much, but still I have to get student loans and grants, wonder where all that money is going with all expenses paid expect food. I really fucking wonder, thanks dad for moving away when I was 10 so you could make more money and not give but 1g for college, which doesnt even come close to covering a semester

No shit, did you go to darrow?  My buddy went there and was real good friends with Baron.  He said Baron used to buy 8balls all the time for the weekends, and they would go to one of Baron's mansions and just do lines all weekend.  Fucked up.  I remember he had reporters facebook messaging him about Baron at one point.

yo i have a house on CA right around Black Point about 1 min from the Wegman's, Danny used to come over and play tennis with my uncle pretty regularly and i chilled with him at the golf course once so im claiming that i actually know him as the richest person i know

I'm a nanny at Harlan Crows summer "house". I've had dinner with him several times. This summer house consists of 14 "cottages" (they're bigger than my house), a beach, a lodge that's probably as big as my high school, tennis courts, and roughly 1000 acres of land.

one of my good friends grandpa was the creator of iams (ya know like the dogfood and shit?) and his house is fuggggin huge,6 car garage with a benz in each one, tennis courts, the works. ive always wondered what it would feel like to never have to worry about money

I had several conversations with Dave Matthews a couple years ago when he stayed at the Sagamore.  He usually stays there when his tour stops in Saratoga. I don't know him but he was pretty chill, as you might expect him to be.  The place he rents is called The Castle.  Over 3,500 dollars a night.  It's a separate building to the side of the Sagamore, it's super old and has like hidden passages and doors and stuff all over it.

Partied there this weekend. The dad that owns the house is a recovering alcoholic so the girls were spazzing about alcohol so the dudes snuck it. It was pretty sick though there was like 50 people i'd say. I'm in neither of these.

Indoor pool/trampoline room in their big ass house.
