whose the richest person you know, and what did they do to aquire their wealth?

You have to actually know this person too, like they would for sure greet you by your first name whenever they saw you...it cant be someone you met a few times.

well my neighbor has built up two companies - the first one sold for 15 million- then about a year a go he sold his new company to lockheed martin for the princely sum of 400 million- needless to say his plane costs almost as much as my house and he is moving into his new home in texas he built-

but the most wealthy people I know is a toss up- around here a lot of the people my parents know are worth a shitload- but the few that stand out are the kinsley family- extremely good firends/wakeboard all summer with them- massive construction firm- if the three brothers were one they would be worth over 500 mil- and the stewarts- who own every quarry, car dealershi[p, as well as they sold pfaltzgraff for 600 million dollars- we became good friends through skiing- the guy owns a g5- not charter- owns

and finally the wealthiest person I know is the owner and chairman of the board for the company that my dad is the director of sales for and where I work all summer- between the business plus owning a shitload of stuff in West Chester PA he is pretty damn close to being a billionaire- but you would never know it- besides his house everything is normal except he has a Lear jet- you would never know he runs a company worth over 1/2 a billion and over 5000 employees

my favorite story about him is after he bought the plane he was sick of getting ripped off at the local airport for fuel and plane storage- so he built himself a hangar big enough for 8 full blown private jets, and also bought all the fuel at the airport- like a boss

haha cause you live in a shitty area. Out in the valley in CA people have redic houses that would be worth 10x as much if they lived in nice areas of the Bay Area. and normal, homely, houses are worth millions if they are in the right parts.

Uhh, my dad is close friends with Joel Seagle, the football agent...
And my sister is close friends with the daughter of whoever started Forbes magazine, they live in a semi nice house but are apparently worth like 120 million dollars, they don't show there money at all....

My grandparents built a 5 thousand sq ft log home mansion that if put in an even somewhat desirable zipcode would be worth well over a million. let alone if it had mtn or lake proximity.

however, in bumfucknowhere southdakota it was worth like 400k

greenwhich is easily the richest town on the eastcoast as a whole by far. The most reidculous houses and shit there its a fantasy town. Luckly, im pimpin in westchester rightb y it if anyone knows so we live it up pretty large here

probably either my grandfather (sold his business for ridiculous amounts of money in his 50's, now sitting pretty on a shit ton of real estate in my hometown, a summer home on a golf course in Florida, or my boyfriends parents (real estate and a clothing company).

my friend Robert. started making money as a pro photographer at 17 years old, sued his parents for kicking him out, lived with his friend (whose dad is a billionaire) for a while, hired me to work for him selling designer clothing for a while, started a few businesses, now he's living in the States, first car he bought was the new Challenger, now he's goin to Harvard. he's also a pretty lucky dude, one time him and i were skiing this backcountry line and he stopped for a sec to pull a $100 dollar bill he spotted out of a tree, bought me a great lunch that day.
i could argue that i know people with more money, but i have no doubt that my friend Robert has more business talent than anyone else i know and will one day be the richest friend and most useful contact i have.

I once took a peek at my dad's account when he was withdrawing money from the bank. 30mil. This was 3 years ago when i was 14. To this day I have no clue what he does. He never talks about business and goes to New York from Chicago every Monday morning and comes home Saturday morning. Hopefully, I will find out one day ...

lets see.... I am friends with most of the fords kids, and well that is pretty self explanatory and could possibly win this thread. But i am also really good friends with a kid whos grandpa owns 98% of trailer parks on the east side of the mississippi. If anyone here rides beaver creek there vacation home is to the right if you are going up strawberry park. There vacation car is a porsche cayene turbo. Here at home the have a range rover sport, 750li, and gt3 rs. But the fords probably top them.

i live on canadaigua lake, its supposedly has some of the highest lakefront property values in the world or some shit. i dont really believe that, but danny fucking wegmans lives on the other side of the lake from me about 2 miles down. his house is fucking insane, he has two offshore race boats docked on an 18 mile long lake for reasons probably involving the words "because he fucking can" for those of you that dont live on the east coast "Wegmans" is the store everyone buys food from here.

tom galissano (fuck if i can spell his last name) lives directly across from me. hes like a governer or some shit.

and the previous owner of bergmann associates, a pretty major engineering firm, also lives on the lake. hes a nice guy.


but i live in "the weeds" which is the scummy south end of the lake. called the weeds because the water is shallower here and so there is alot of seaweed. technically i live just barely outside "the weeds" but its so close it doesnt make a difference.


also my friend dated this girl whos parents owned a mall. her house was dope as fuck. all the drawers had these like hydraulics in the them so no matter how hard you shut them it just closed real slow at the end all like "ssss"
