Really sick show tonight, all 6 film crews put together amazing edits, made even more impressive by the 6 day time restriction on the project.
The Voleurz team took out the win tonight along with a $15,000 giant check and acknowledgment from the crowd and judges. It was a great edit and deserved 1st, with a good mix of skiing and boarding, KC Deane going off, naked runs, great park shots and humor. Dendrite Studio's also put a great edit together with by far the best backcountry shots in the contest, making me realize just how good it is back there for this time of year and what i missing out on being injured. And lastly I'll mention TSP, the boys from Montana opened up the show tonight and didn't disappoint. Even though I personally ski out of the park for the most part, I was stoked to see these guys come into town and kill it like they did, some really unique urban shots with great editing that impressed the crowd.
All in all a great night that will likely be here for years to come considering the great vibe tonight.
