Replying to Looking for roommate, 2 blocks west of U.

Hey NS, so I'm looking for a roommate for a basement apartment. Address is 252 S Douglas St (1240 e). For reference, it is 1 street west of the Greywhale music store/Pie pizzaria. Great location/neighborhood.

It is a house, the basement will be you and me. Share a kitchen,living room and bathroom. Your room is pretty average size (dont know dimensions) but it could fit a bed/dresser/tv/desk. That's what current roommate has. It has a walk in closet.

The people upstairs are mellow, all students and are very studious. Parties over the weekend, no ragers though. Huge emphasis on that. That is what I am looking for as well. I'll usually be out and about but when I am home would not want a large party of homies over all the time. Weekends are different story but during the week not real down with that all the time. Like 5-6 people, chillin watchin tv is all good, just be respectful and not to loud all the time. I like my space and that is why I selected this place basically. Not an anal dude. Open minded nd understanding but just wanna inform ya guys of all of this so you aren't disappointed and we can live together and make this work. And also so I don't have to keep telling people what I'm looking for and get a ridiculous amount of texts/calls of people who aren't living the same lifestyle.

Anyways I'll get to rent, 380, that includes utilities, it's a fixed amount. Upstairs folks mentioned cable, I don't watch much tv so I can't remember the details on it but it is available I believe. Internet is an additional 8, I think a N router is used so pretty fast/reliable. No pets.

LEASE:
The lease is an interesting one. We sign together, and we pay the rent together. If you don't pay the rent, I get fucked and vice versa. So I'm looking for someone who has got their shit together so I don't have to baby sit you or nag because I DO NOT have time or money to have you not pull your weight. 1 year lease, you sign it and are committed to pay this set fee for one year. IF you decide to leave, YOU WILL have to find someone else to sign a new lease immediately, you can leave, but you will have to find someone else to sign a new lease. Do this and you can leave with no reprucusions against yourself, great deal, you just have to be on top of your shit and be responsible please. And you will have to consult me with your choices.

I ski, mountain bike,rock climb,drink,hike, whatever. Going to either brighton or solitude next year. Down to carpool, no car but if your going to same place more the merrier. Would like a roommate with similar interests, I like to store my gear inside and roommate is a bitch about this which is understandable but I would definitely prefer someone with same views so we get along.
