I know that NS has to earn income, but could you guys please stray away from accepting ads that are the flash games, obvious scams or just plain annoying? I don't want to see NS plastered with "LOOK AT THE SECRET A STAY AT HOME MOM FOUND THAT DENTISTS DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW"

Thank you. These ads show that a website is desperate for advertisers, and thusly looks worse to other advertisers, should they want to support NS.

The random ads simply fill in gaps when things aren't 100% sold out. Ideally we wouldn't have any of these, but there are parts of the season where ski companies advertise less, one of the realities of being such a focused site on a seasonal sport.

If you noticed for most of the winter we were nearly 100% sold out on ads, which is quite the feat when we average nearly 15 Million pages served a month, with multiple ads per page. Moving into the summer months there are a few gaps that we use remnant ad services to fill.

If you see any that are overly the top horrible, pop ups or play music then post a screen capture and a copy of the link when you click on them in Site Discussion and we'll try to block them from the feed. We hate them as much as you do.

This is why you should buy from companies that advertise on NS, without them you'll be seeing nothing but DONT PAY FULL PRICE FOR MEAT GOLF CLUBS and CARTOONIFY YOUR LAME FACE NOW ads.

Buy from NS's advertisers. Dont make them bring back Mike Golic.
