Any reason why this wouldnt work with my T3i?

im thinking about getting this intervalometer (to do time lapses) for my T3i... only thing is that the T3i isnt listed as one of cameras that the device works with.  Could this just be because the T3i is so new?
the t2i is listed tho.

I would imagine that it is the case seeing as the t2i and the t3i are very similiar.

i would assume it would work. everything on the t3i is going to be the same as the t2i on the outside of the body other than the flip out screen. maybe search a bit more in goggle to find your answer.

I may buy this, but I may upgrade to the 7D later this year. Any ideas why it wouldn't work with that?

But the T3i is very new, and is identical to the T2i, so you should be fine.
