717 quick release adapter.

hi guys hope everything is well. i have a question for you knowledgeable M&A. after reading about the 717 tripod i bought one. i also have a glidecam i am wondering if there is an adapter that works with my 717 quick release plate so i can put the adapter on my glidecam and use the quick release for both my tripod and glidecam.

Ive got one of these on my glidecam and it works perfectly with my 701HDV manfrotto head.
Not sure about your specific tripod though.

I don't know the model numbers for mine but I have one for the quick release plate on my 501 head and it made my glidecam so much more useful, really worth the $50

can someone explain how the quick release works with the glidecam? i've never used a glidecam (buying one soon, i hope)

Well the quick release plate you can buy just attaches to the glidecam plate via a bolt and then all you have to do is attach the quick release shoe (which is the same as your tripod shoe) to the quick release and bam you're attached the to glidecam and BAM you can switch to tripod or handheld instantly.
I probably should buy one soon.
