I'd say my mom wins coolest mom award (at least she does in my books). So my mom is like 59 years old, skis in Ontario so all she really does is ski groomers (but she skis them really really fast). Just over a decade ago (before I left Ontario) she tried to learn how to ski park, but wasn't in the mindset of taking enough speed into the jumps to hit the sweets spot of the landings and didn't like it. understandable.

since then - mostly in the last two years - she's become a certified physical trainer, became a lifty at the ski hill, and took up downhill mountain biking. She's gotten good enough at dh biking that she's hitting the hard trails, coming out the bottom saying "there's not enough jumps on that track" and is in search of more difficult biking. the biking has also made her rethink park skiing and and wants to give it another try.

Oh yeah - and she's an legit artist who raised me and my sister by selling her paintings.

dude my dad is so pimp.
he skied all his life, he's gone places to ski like utah and stuff (from ontario).
he snowboards too.
he wins race comps.
occasionally he come to the park and he skies past the jumps with ease.
he could kill powder if we had it in ontario.

im the resident "old man" here my sons 12

i "drag" him everywhere i go, mt biking,skiing,cliff jumping,wake boarding,quading,drag racing hell at age 4 he had his own 50cc bike.

im a full fledged adrenaline junkie! my sons is my mini me and as long as he does good in school he reaps the rewards.

My dad does some hefty spread eagles over bigass knolls. He rides DH bikes and his favourite trail is a steep, oldschool, gnarfest... which is fucking awesome.  He rides his road bike 30km each way to work all summer. He's given me beer for as long as I remeber. He also likes building trails. I smoked a joint with him at Bob Marley's house in Jamaica.

He's the man.
