you can get a nice hardtail for $800-1,000 for sure. go into your local shop, ask them questions about bikes and tell them what kind of riding you do and what kind of riding you want to get into. you don't have to buy from them, they'd just help you get a better idea of what type/brand/sizes/components you should look at. once you get a good idea of what you want, keep an eye on your local buy/sell section of pinkbike.com.

ok edit, but dont use transitions between each and every shot. it makes it look kinda ghey.

I ride crosscountry/singletrack. I went out for opening day at my local trail today, it was fun! Hopefully I can get some new bike shoes tomorrow (mine are 2 and a half sizes too small)

BUMP!


Whoa, forgot about this. Totally hating the bike on uphills and long XC rides but this bike slays everything else so well for a hardtail! Love the steel frame. I pass people on the DH riding fullys all the time. Can't wait til I can afford a new fully and see how much I've improved from riding nothing but a hardtail for a few years.
