Because it was the name of some king in ukraine (Where my parents are from.)

Well, I guess because my dad didn't want to name me Jillian or Meredith (my mom's top choices), but they both liked Kristen. I'm just glad they didn't pick something totally off the wall or spelled really weird. I feel sorry for babies lately, that's such an awful trend.

jokes aside, my name literally means "friend of horses" in greek. it can also be translated as "noble". As for why my parents chose to name me that, well i have no idea, they just liked the name i guess.

As for my first name - My mom liked it and decided to spell it so it looked less 'boyish'. I don't think my dad had any hand in the first name but he did change my middle name while my mom was still under the anesthetic.

patrick allegedly NOT for patrick swayze in dirty dancing. my mom swears to everything thats holy that i am not named after that (because after '88/'89 patrick was a very famous name in germany/austria due to that movie).

middle name is christian since my brother who was fuckin 3 years old at that time thought that name is cool. is a little ironic because i dont have that much to do with christianity but whatever.

thats exactly how i got the first of my two middle names, and i assume my parents gave me my name because they found humor in the fact that for the rest of my life i would constantly be spelling and pronouncing it out for the stupid and seemingly illiterate.
