is this 2002? 2002, hello, yes is this 2002?! Christ, people have had down the pipe flat 3s and 5s for a long fucking time now, check Thomas Rinfret. Shortly after, people began to think 'alley-oop' is a cool ass name, we should just stick to those and the regular flat 3/5 faded.

You're correct, I was just noting that down the pipe/regular flatspins have been done in the past, they just phased out for some reason and everyone started doing alley-oop flatspins. I can't remember the vid but in an old ski movie Rinfret did them all the time and a few other skiers did them as well. I just found it funny that a trick fairly frequently done years ago is now some hot shit.
