So this weekend I slept at my friends friends house.
I parked my car in a way that the next morning we could leave early without the problem of having everyone to move their cars to get out.
That same night later on, some other guy parked kind of behind me not totally blocking my way out.
In the morning I was backing up without looking back ( 5am ) since I though no one was blocking my way and I hit his car, not going fast at all.
It scratched the paint and did a bit of damage. See photo bellow.
I was in a hurry but didnt wanna be a bitch so I got in and gave him my number so that we could fix it.
Now I am Canadian and I was in the Us so I dont think my insurance covers that so I asked him to get a quote today.
The quote is for 1300$ worth of damage, shit is ridiculous, this is a 2003 pickup with 130000, my dad owns a used car dealership and we checked today, the value of the car before damage is 3000$ max.
I though the guy would just let it go since its an old truck but I guess he wants to get some extra cash.
I explained my money issue to him, how all my money goes into my health rite now and I dont even make 1300$ a month.
I asked him to get another quote tomorow because this just doesnt sound rite.
I know im responsible of the cost but im sure hes just gonna leave it like this and make some extra cash over me and I find that really lame.
Im in a pretty bad situation rite now so please be serious I need some advice.
p.s I already have the pay the damage on my car which is much worst than this ...
